Reflection

I want to express my gratitude to Prof Brad and my fellow classmates for this wonderful and enriching experience in TLM 1010. I have learnt a lot of useful skills that are very relevant for my future. I have learnt skills such as designing report proposal, giving effective oral communication, pitching, conducting proper research, engaging audience with visual aids and verbal interactions and many more. Not only skills are being learned throughout this process, this module also strengthen the sense of camaraderie in our class. This module requires a lot of interactions that slowly uncover different personalities in our class. At the end of this module, I have learned a lot about my classmates. I have also learned that I have many areas to improve on. I will keep striving for improvement and give the best I can.

From the showcase, I have discovered ways to capture the audience attention. Some of the groups used intriguing videos and some of them used audience interactions by questioning. All the presenters have done exceptionally well during the showcase. However, NoticeU Technology stands out from the rest. They have captured my attention from the very start by using disturbing videos (not for the faint heart). Thereafter, they convey every single detail about their solutions with concrete and justified information. Thus, this makes their presentation complete. Most of the other presenters did not explain on the details of implementing their solutions. Hence, with good content and a convincing pitch, NoticeU Technology was the best pick.
